Playing Fast - A Recorder Workshop

In this workshop you will learn how to play difficult passages faster and with greater ease. Héloïse's training as an Alexander Technique teacher and a professional recorder player gives her a unique ability to help students conquer their technical obstacles. Using Quantz’s Variations on Minuetto L’inconnu as a guide, Héloïse will give you the tools you need to approach your most daunting musical challenge. Open to all levels.
Sundays from 2:00 – 3:30pm July 20, 27 & August 3
Price: $75 for all three sessions

Baroque Chamber Music

We offer a number of baroque chamber ensembles for adult amateurs of all instruments and levels. These ensembles enhance students’ ability to communicate musically while learning about Baroque phrasing, articulation, and basso continuo. Contact us to arrange an informational interview so we can place you in an appropriate ensemble.

Recorder Consorts

With a rich, organ-like sound, recorder consorts were quite popular from the 16th through the 18th centuries. In these ensembles students play rennaisance music while learning about recorder technique, and consort playing. Contact us to arrange an informational interview so we can place you in an appropriate ensemble.
